So, my history is: I was in the military and grew up in Texas. So, I’ve been
shooting rifles my entire life. I shot a little bit of handgun in the military but I
never really got any instruction. I ended up owning my own gun after I got out.
I thought I was a pretty good shot. My friends and family thought I was a really
good shot. Better than I… a much better shot than I… than I… I was terrible (by
comparison).
Now… I went and got trained. I took a lesson. It CHANGED EVERYTHING I
knew about shooting a handgun and taught me everything I didn’t know.
EVERYTHING I DIDN'T KNOW I NEEDED TO KNOW. And, well, it’s led to me
being an instructor as well as for fun I do some competitive shooting now, too. Not ranked or anything, just for fun.
